Annual Periodic Assessment
The Ontario Ministry of Health no longer recommends routine “annual physicals” as evidence shows they do not improve patient health. The focus now is on preventive care, which includes routine lab tests, cancer screenings, and vaccinations. Please check with your doctor if you’re due for any preventive testing or have received mail from the government.
The annual periodic assessment is insured by OHIP once per patient per 12 month period. It must be over one year before you can call our office to book your annual periodic assessment appointment.
